# Udemie

> Udemie is a Windows desktop app that downloads online courses from Udemy, Coursera and LinkedIn Learning into one local library for offline viewing — with a built-in player, subtitles, progress tracking, notes, and AI study tools (chat with a course, library-wide semantic search, AI learning path, and subtitle translation).

Udemie is built for learners on metered or unreliable connections who need durable, offline access to courses they have enrolled in or purchased. The free tier is speed-limited; PRO removes the limit and raises AI usage quotas via an offline, Ed25519-signed license. Downloading purchased courses for personal offline use is the product's legitimate purpose.
