# Udemie

> Udemie is a Windows and Linux desktop app for downloading online courses you already have access to from Udemy, Coursera and LinkedIn Learning into a local offline library, with a built-in player, subtitles, notes, progress tracking and AI study tools.

Udemie is designed for learners on slow, metered or unreliable connections. It downloads content available through the user's own account; it does not bypass enrollment, payment or DRM-protected access.

## Latest release: v3.6.4 (Sep 23, 2026)
- Linux Snap audio works again with PipeWire and PulseAudio
- Linux Snap uses GPU hardware rendering again instead of falling back to processor rendering, improving the player, hover effects and animations
- Udemy lectures that previously failed before downloading in the Snap app now download normally because the bundled downloader ships with everything it needs
- The course-page selection bar stays readable while the lecture list scrolls underneath it
- Download failures and cancellations now provide clearer diagnostics
